Windows 10 Wins PC Gaming with Increasing Steam Share
New data provided by Valve for its Steam gaming platform shows that Windows 10 is increasing every month as it becomes the preferred gaming operating system for users across the world.The 64-bit version of Windows 10 is currently the top choice for Steam users with a share of 57.03%, up 1.50% from the previous month. Windows 7 is the runner-up with 32.38%, which is down 1.19% as compared to June 2018.
In global market share, Windows 7 is the leading choice, while Windows 10 is trailing behind with slowly-improving adoption in the majority of markets.
The 32-bit version of Windows 10 is also growing on Steam, but it does its score doesn’t even compare with the one of its 64-bit sibling. Windows 10 32-bit runs on just 0.35% of Steam machines, up only 0.01% from the previous month.
