Microsoft Surface Andromeda Concept Envisions Laptop and Gaming Modes

Microsoft’s new Surface mobile device, internally codenamed Andromeda and nicknamed by fans Surface Phone, is projected to see daylight later this year with a dual-screen design powering several form factors and various advanced capabilities.

A new concept that was published online a few hours ago envisions two of the modes that would be featured on such a device, namely gaming and laptop.

Both of them are made possible by the innovative dual-screen approach, with one of the displays doubling as a secondary input method, in this case, an Xbox-inspired gaming controller and a keyboard.

This idea makes sense and the device as it is envisioned in the concept looks good, though implementing it requires not only flawless hardware, but also advanced software capabilities.
