Have You Already Updated to Windows 10 Version 1809?
Microsoft has started the public rollout of Windows 10 October 2018 Update, also known as version 1809, and the first computers are being updated as we speak.
Just like it happened in the case of the April 2018 Update, the release takes place in stages, and this approach allows Microsoft to deal with potential bugs easier than it would have to in case the new OS feature update would be published for everyone at once.
At the same time, because some people just can’t wait any longer, Microsoft allows them to download the update on request by simply checking for updates on Windows Update.
A quick check for updates on a Windows 10 Fall Creators Update should thus trigger the upgrade if your system isn’t flagged as potentially affected by compatibility issues, and needless to say, there are lots of users who already turned to this option.
