OnePlus 6T to Feature In-Display Fingerprint Reader

OnePlus confirmed to CNET that their new flagship phone, the OnePlus 6T, will come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor designed to make it easier for the users to unlock their devices.

The in-screen fingerprint reader comes as an additional way to lock and unlock OnePlus' smartphones seeing that it also comes with a Face Unlock feature.

OnePlus said in its statement to CNET that "we unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action. By adding this feature as an addition to other display unlocking options such as Face Unlock, users will have options to unlock the display in a way that is most efficient for them."
