Microsoft Considering Virtual Keyboard Tech Similar to iPhone’s 3D Touch

Microsoft has recently patented a new virtual keyboard technology that would easily fit projects like Andromeda, which would use a dual-screen design for multiple form factors.

In at least one form factor, displays can double as a virtual keyboard, allowing users to type just like they’d do on a regular physical keyboard, but with dedicated features to generate feedback and to power more advanced functionality.
