Giving Up on Skype for Windows 10 Mobile Could Be Microsoft’s Next Move

Microsoft has recently announced a new Skype for Windows 10 update, and the company has apparently used this occasion to make another substantial step towards leaving Windows phones behind once and for all.

As reported by AAWP, development of new Skype features for Windows 10 Mobile has stopped, which means that those who’re still running the dying mobile operating system would no longer get any goodies beside what they have right now.

While this doesn’t come as a huge surprise given the current state of the mobile platform, it’s certainly a controversial Microsoft decision, especially as Windows 10 Mobile still has approximately one year of support left.
